Carvin demo 1 talking about the
amp and doing some playing through different channels.
This demo was
made the day I got the amp in the mail. So this is to show you what sounds you
can get from the minute you plug in and start to play.
Also I should
clarify something I said on this demo video. I said "The EQX is like a BBE
Sonic Maximizer" which knowing that the EQX: Toggle between standard EQ and
Expanded EQ it opens up more frequency. So when I said the "The EQX is like BBE
Sonic Maximizer" it mean that it opens up a wider frequency range for the
TREBLE and BASS. So accentually it restructures the signal in such a way which
allows speakers to more correctly and faithfully reproduce the signal like a
BBE Sonic Maximizer. Really what else is there to compare it
too?
Yeah I'm a goof! The colors you see on the controls are from my
new MiniDV camcorder. I took another look at the camcorder settings and had it
set up for some weird cloudy sky setting with low 8 bit audio. The knobs are
all chrome but show as multi color due to the settings. |

Carvin Demo 2
Here is a higher quality demo of me
playing through the Carvin V3 head and Carvin 2x12 cab.
The solo is
called Shredamajig; it's a guitar solo piece I used to do at my live shows back
in the late 80's early 90's for showoff purposes. It's nothing special, just me
playing for the sake of playing. I thought it would be a good way to show off
the amp for that sort of style. It's all in fun. |
